Founded by Joseph Purdy, a fourth-generation Eureka native, Montana Properties Group was built on hard work, honesty, and a deep respect for the land. Joe, a licensed real estate agent and broker since 1984, has spent over 40 years working with the land — from fire and land management with the Kootenai National Forest Service, to building Purdy Ranch, to guiding buyers and sellers through the real estate journey across Eureka, Lake Koocanusa, Whitefish, and the Flathead Valley. His background with global corporations and a long career as a high school basketball coach reflect his dedication, leadership, and love for his community.

Joining Joe in leadership is his family member and fellow fourth-generation Montanan, Russell Purdy. Raised on a dairy and cattle ranch in Eureka, Russell brings a unique blend of real estate knowledge, business acumen, and life experience. With degrees in Business Administration and Accounting, service in the U.S. Air Force with top-secret clearance, and decades of work in real estate markets throughout Montana, Russell’s commitment to his clients is grounded in integrity and personalized service. Whether preparing comparative market analyses for the IRS and government agencies or advising individuals on investment decisions, Russell’s expertise runs deep.
